Middleburg Post Office

The Middleburg Post Office is a cultural feature located in Loudoun, VA.  The primary coordinates for Middleburg Post Office places it within the ZIP Code 20117 delivery area.

Middleburg Post Office provides expedited passport service with a two (2) to four (4) week turnaround time in Middleburg.

Located on the “main drag” near the end of town, this Post Office is famous not for its service, products or customer satisfaction…location…more precisely, the zipcode and the stamp that says “Middleburg, Va.”

Middleburg is, of course, the epicenter of “horse country” million dollar “estates”, and point to point races, etc.

Some people who live out there keep a P.O. Box in town just to have their all their mail stamped with this pedigreed seal-of-approval.

How the Us Postal System Prices the Mail

Let us now look at the costing of the mails. The United States Postal System uses a prepaid method of payment. The charge is always fixed, and it is evident by the stamp affixed to the mail item. The exact amount depends on the type of delivered item, delivery requirements, and weight. It also important to note that improper postage will be returned to the sender if the postal office cannot deliver it going by the addresses. If the UPSS cannot determine the exact destination of the mail item through the ZIP codes and addresses, then it has to be returned.
